The BAS6 is an 8″ Pre-Loaded Powered Subwoofer conservatively rated to handle 400 Watts RMS, yet efficient enough to yield a Sound Pressure Level of 88db with just 2.83 Volts at 1 Meter. It utilizes an internally wired 2″ Inch, 4 Layer, 2 Ohm Voice Coil. The BAS8 Subwoofer incorporates tight Red stitching that’s sewn through a UV treated non-pressed paper cone with an EROM Foam Surround. The entire cone assembly is bonded to a heavy gauge steel basket that bolts to double stacked high flux Y30 70oz Strontium Ferrite Magnets that have a 10mm top plate. The critical function of keeping the voice coil centered in the magnetic gap is performed by the poly-cotton spider with woven round tinsel leads. Connections to your power source of choice are confidently made with heavy-duty spring-loaded 5-way binding terminals. Our enclosure has black anodized deep steel woofer bars to protect the cone and is finished with high-quality industrial-grade carpeting.
